TIMEMORE cold brew ice dripper is not an ordinary coffee maker but also not a simple pour-over. It is a glass drip tower of three vessels united for one purpose: to make a soft and rich ice coffee so desirable in the hot season.
The name reflects the functionality of the device:
- Cold brew is making a drink from ground coffee poured with cold water. It takes from 3 to 18 hours to prepare the drink: it is filtered, cooled, and served with ice.
- Ice dripper is the very tool that allows you to make coffee. Ice water slowly, drop by drop, saturates the coffee grounds and triggers extraction. As a result, you get about 300 ml of a tonic, aromatic drink.
The process of cold brewing makes the taste of coffee milder compared with a beverage from a coffee maker. The taste is not sour and bitter as in traditional brewing, but the drink is sweet enough and the aroma is brighter.
The only problem is the preparation time. You can’t make cold coffee in a couple of minutes, as in a coffee machine. But Timemore simplified the process as much as possible and reduced it to three hours. You only need to grind the coffee, add water and ice, adjust the speed of drops, and place a compact appliance in the fridge. Ice Dripper is easy to cleanse, so you can prepare several servings of coffee daily.
